Kimpton hotel born to hotel indigo denver12/14/2023 ![]() Showers have communal large bottles for shampoo/condition/body wash - my conditioner bottle was empty. Bathroom tiles had odd (gross) splatters. Housekeeping did not sweep bathroom for 3 days, didn't vacuum or wipe down surfaces for 3 days - only thing that was done daily was new towels and bed made. An added star when I asked to change rooms (which the hotel did very nicely/smoothly) - the "view" they advertise (that I paid for) is for Denver's Union Station but that comes with 24 hours/day train noises like bells and whistles - the room I changed to had a view of the Rocky Mountains.hmmmm OK, I guess that's a personal preference. 2 stars for location to train station and if you need to be downtown. Glad there is a Whole Foods 1.5 blocks away. Lastly, the room doors slam and close really hard which means you hear all of them on the floors above and below in additional to the ones on your floor - like rattling loud when they slam. ![]() Restaurant/bar menus are not vegan/vegetarian friendly. Coffee in lobby the first day was cold and the second day was not drinkable (highly bitter and gritty). No magnifying/make-up mirror in bathroom is a clear signal to the age bracket they care about. The floor lamp in the corner (which I needed on to actually see in the room - only other light was 2 small table side lamps) had to be plugged in / out manually to use it - the switch was broken and it was not connected to a light switch. The rooms are new (newly redone) which is always a plus. ![]()
